2019 Closing Dinner and AGM September 25th, 2019

It’s that time of year again to start thinking about our annual season closing banquet. We will be celebrating another great year of bowling with all our bowling friends and family. A super meal is planned at the Richmond Hill Curling Club on Wednesday September 25 and once again this year the price has been set at $30 per person. A real bargain.

  • Tickets will be on sale at the clubhouse from Tuesday August 27th and we need to tell our caterers the number of people coming by September 18th so please don’t delay and get your tickets right away.

  • Any member of the executive can sell you the tickets but be prepared to choose your preferred dinner from one of the following delicious options.
    1. A herb and garlic crusted prime rib roast beef in a red wine jus served over herb and garlic roasted potatoes and seasonal vegetables. Please indicate on the ticket if you want well done, medium or rare.
    2. Goat cheese and leek stuffed chicken breast under a creamy goat cheese sauce served over garlic mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables.
    3. A vegan option of Phyllo wrapped egg plant “Parmesan”

Closing Dinner and AGM Report

46 members plus several spouses and friends attended our closing banquet and AGM at the RH Curling Club.  The prime rib, chicken and vegetarian dinner options all received rave reviews!  Ben P and Carol C won the Share the Wealth draws.  Susan H entertained us with another of her Year in Review poems, Ken C had a great slide show of photos from all our member events, and reports from the President, Treasurer, Greens Chair, Membership Chair and Tournament Chair were presented.  It was a lovely evening, and a great way to wrap up the season!

The slideshow follows the photos.
