The health and well being of members is our number one priority. We will follow all guidelines from public health authorities, municipal, provincial and federal governments, and sports governing bodies (Bowls Canada, OLBA) that impact on our coming season.

Covid-19 Protocols

Certain health and safety measures, including self-screening before entering and some masking and physical distancing requirements will remain in place until further notice.  Adjustments to the protocols may be made if conditions change.

The Club will not be screening for the presence of covid-19 symptoms.  All members and visitors must self-screen before entering and must adhere to other health and safety requirements while inside the facility.

Self-screening questions

  1. In the last 10 days, have you experienced any symptoms?

  2. Has a doctor or health care provider or public health unit told you that you should currently be in isolation?

  3. Do you live with someone who is currently in isolation because of a positive test or has covid-19 symptoms or who is waiting for covid-19 test results?

  4. In the last 10 days, have you been identified as a close contact of someone who has covid-19?

Do not come to the club if you are unwell or have said yes to any of the self screening questions.

Masks will not be required outside but anyone is welcome to continue wearing a mask if they choose.  This may change if Public Health restrictions require it.

Masks must be worn inside the clubhouse until further notice.

Physical Distancing

Physical distancing must be observed everywhere on the premises, including on the green.  Whenever possible, we will use every second lane and play games of pairs.

Building Access

Access to the clubhouse for washroom use and retrieving or putting away bowls in lockers may be limited to a set number.

There will be no access to use the kitchen at the present time.

No access to the maintenance shed except by the greens crew when performing maintenance.

The Club will provide hand sanitizer and Lysol wipes but members are encouraged to provide their own.

Use of Club Equipment

Arrangements will be in place for renting of club lawn bowls, Ubi launchers and lockers for exclusive use for the entire season, if necessary.

Benches inside the shelters and tables and chairs on the porch will be available but physical distancing should be observed.

Persons must agree to comply with these required protocols as a condition of membership in the club.
