  • June 10, 2020 - Message from RHLBC Executive's COVID Subcommittee

RHLBC is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for anyone who enters our premises. To that end, we have changed the combination on our front gate, allowing access only to our greens crew at this point while we plan for the restrictions that will be required during our first phase of re-opening.

We are developing a phased-in reopening plan in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, which will apply to anyone entering our premises, including those who wish to be on the green. Our goal is to ensure the safety and well being of our members, prevent the potential for transmission of COVID-19, protect us from liability, and ensure compliance with the protocols required by the provincial government, the City of Richmond Hill and the Ontario Lawn Bowls Association, through whom we are insured.  We will not take any steps that will render our insurance invalid.  Only through a cooperative effort can we establish and maintain the safety and health of our Club and our members.

We will be providing more details on this site in the coming week. Stay tuned for specific details of the first phase ("Phase I") of reopening.
