The Richmond Hill Lawn Bowling  Club encourages you to come out and give lawn bowling a try. There are many reasons for you to do so:

  •  It is a relaxing and enjoyable outdoor activity

  •  It offers a good test of skill

  •  There is friendly competition

  •  All members of the family can play

  •  Singles are welcome

  •  It is not an expensive sport

  •  You can play at times that suit your schedule

  •  There is no age limit

  •  And best of all, it is a fun way to get some light exercise.

Lawn bowling is a bit like curling on grass. While lawn bowls curl like curling rocks, game strategy is different because the “button” (called the “jack” in lawn bowling) may move during an end. We have several opportunities for you to explore whether lawn bowling is for you.

The Richmond Hill Lawn Bowling Club (RHLBC) is pleased to announce an Open House, free to the general public, on Saturday August 14th from 10 am to 12 noon. This member-owned and operated club consists of a charming cottage bungalow and a single playing green, located next to the tennis court

Members of the Club have been hard at work to make the Club safe and welcoming for the 2021 season.  They would like to show off the ways that they have updated the premises and  invite you to try lawn bowling !

Lawn bowling is a modestly priced sport that can be played by anyone at any age. The game is played both recreationally and competitively.

Please drop by on August 14th from 10-12, chat with some of the members, and try lawn bowling for yourself.  The Club will lend you the bowls needed. It requires no special equipment (please wear flat-soled/running shoes).
